Walk in the Lahore School
Monday, 9 March 2026
The Lahore School of Economics main campus truly lives up to its reputation as a peaceful, green oasis right in the city. With over 35 acres, more than 80% devoted to lawns, trees, and open spaces, plus those iconic peacocks roaming around, it's the perfect spot for a mindful walk. No wonder it feels heavenly; the lush greenery, shaded paths, and calm atmosphere make it ideal for soaking in those heart, brain, and mood benefits we talked about — better circulation, clearer thinking, stabilized energy, and that gentle sense of presence without any pressure to "achieve" anything.
As I stroll those winding paths (maybe past the red-brick buildings, open lawns, beds of roses, or under the big trees), it becomes my daily reminder to just be — no to-do list required. I breathe in the fresh air, notice the birds or the way the light filters through the leaves, and let the walk recharge me naturally. This is a beautiful way to tie together the permission to exist freely with the simple, compounding health wins from consistent movement.
I enjoy every step of these campus walks that are a real gift. If the weather's nice (or even if it's a bit misty/foggy like some Lahore mornings), it only adds to the magic.
